Mariner's Church Banquet Center in Portland, Maine

There is so much to love about Mariner’s Church Banquet Center! I’ve captured several weddings there over the years and the staff has always been excellent to work with. Located right in Portland’s Old Port, it provides you and your guests with a wide variety of options for hotels and other activities surrounding the wedding without much of a need to drive. You can also arrange to gather somewhere for an after party with ease. Mariner’s Church is able to handle most, if not all, of what you would need for your reception, which makes it all that much easier since you won’t need to book multiple vendors on your own.

Praise from Emily & Coleman

★★★★★ (5 out of 5 stars)

There were so many, I couldn't make a decision. Had I known then what I know now after working with Susie, it would have been a no brainer. The entire day of my wedding I was blown away by her talent, her organization, discreteness, and efficiency."

I loved hearing the story of how Coleman proposed in front of their dishwasher and of their plans for their wedding ceremony at Holy Cross where they first met. Fast forward almost a year and the big day was finally here this past Saturday. I met Coleman for the first time while he and his guys were partaking in the usual wedding day shenanigans (including Holy Donuts, I might add). They had me in stitches within moments of my arrival at his parent's house! Afterwards, I met Emily at her home to capture her last moments before slipping on her wedding gown from Andrea's Bridal. With the Portland Discovery trolley's arrival, they were quickly whisked off to Holy Cross for Emily to marry her best friend.
