"WOW, where do I begin?!?! Susie was incredible and the best money I could have spent on our wedding. When my husband and I got engaged, I spent weeks looking for the perfect photographer. There were so many, I couldn't make a decision. Had I known then what I know now after working with Susie, it would have been a no brainer. The entire day of my wedding I was blown away by her talent, her organization, discreteness, and efficiency. We had a church ceremony and I initially was so worried about having a photographer who would be snapping photos obnoxiously in the middle of the aisle during mass. Susie worked the room so quietly and multiple people commented on the fact that they hardly noticed her- yet, I still have the best and most detailed photos of the ceremony. Before the wedding, Susie sent out a wedding worksheet that I filled out with lots of different info, including all the formal portraits I wanted. I'm so glad she did this because I was able to thoughtfully choose all the portraits I wanted and avoid forgetting anything like I probably would have had I been deciding this the day of the wedding. She met with me at a coffee shop to go over last minute wedding details and helped me choose the location for our formal portraits. She recommended Fort Williams, knowing I wanted to capture the fall foliage as well as the ocean. She knew the park like the back of her hand. Before I knew it, she had the map of the park uploaded on her iPad and was pointing out all the different options based on the direction of the sun that time of day. She helped me decide on 3 spots in the park and timed out how we could get this all done between the end of the ceremony and start of the reception. Not only does she take gorgeous photographs, but she is practically like a wedding planner. I was out on the dance floor when the bustle of my dress came out. Before I knew it, she was kneeling on the ground with pliers from her fanny pack fixing the bustle of my dress! My husband had ten loud and rowdy groomsmen- somehow Susie managed to keep them all in line while still getting all the pictures we had talked about plus many more. At the end of the night, she even lugged all her camera gear around the cobblestones of the old port to get some beautiful pictures of my husband and I before the end of the night. Talk about being prompt- Susie had a sneak peak available the day after our wedding and a blog up the week after our wedding so we were already seeing some wedding photos while on our honeymoon. We were married October 14th and I already have the USB drive with all our photos-now, that is timeliness! AND...speaking of our pictures!!! I am in LOVE. They are so beautiful, I couldn't have been any happier. I would give Susie more than 5 stars if I could. I don't think I will ever get tired of looking at our wedding photos.
