Patrice & Aaron :: Wedding at Clay Hill Farm, Ogunquit, Maine

Patrice and Aaron were married on May 21, 2011, which was one of the only sunny, gorgeous days that Maine had seen in quite a while. I dare say that Patrice's prayers for 70 degrees and sunny were granted! The whole day was absolutely perfect from the amazing birdhouse theme capped off by brilliant birdhouses made by Aaron and his father and step father all the way to the music provided by Music Fantasy Weddings from North Hampton, New Hampshire. And Clay Hill Farm in Ogunquit, Maine, was absolutely perfect and a stunning location for Patrice and Aaron to start the next chapter of their lives together. Here is a sneak peek of what is to come. Clay Hill Farm in Ogunquit, Maine, was an absolutely picture perfect place for these two love birds to tie the knot. Every single detail was taken care of and you could not have asked for a better day. The food was amazing, the cupcakes were to die for, and the estate itself was breathtaking. Rachel, the wedding coordinator from Clay Hill Farm, and her crew were absolutely fabulous!

Aaron is such an amazing guy. He knew that Patrice's grandfather wouldn't be able to make the trip to Maine. So, knowing that his (now) wife would be missing him, he drive to New York a couple weeks ago and filmed her grandfather sending his best wishes for the couple (including a line about the fact that if Patrice changed her mind he'd "take care of it" because "that's what Grampas do"). Patrice was completely surprised and there was not a dry eye in the house.

Bob and Nancy Fauci from Music Fantasy Weddings kept the dance floor hopping all afternoon and entertained the guests with an awesome game to give away the amazing bird house centerpieces that Aaron and his [now] father-in-law had made. It was definitely a battle because everyone wanted them!

A tradition for Patrice's family is to break out the chicken hats her grandmother made and dance in them, in her honor, to the "chicken dance" song. She has passed away now, but she was definitely there in spirit during this crazy rendition of it. You have to love the hats!

Thank you again, Patrice and Aaron, for letting me be a part of such an amazing day. You two are so perfect for one another and I think every single one of your guests can testify that your love was flowing strong today. You are so amazing!
