Mary & Matt's Fall Wedding at The Liberty in Boston

Just in case you aren't in Maine today, looking out my window is down right depressing. There are patches of the first snow still around in the shadows while mother nature is dumping tons of rain on us. Add in the colder temps and... *sigh* it is an ideal afternoon for tea, reading a book, and cuddling with my pup. Alas, my go to activity for this rainy days is to release a much anticipated sneak peek to brighten mood. For this story, my connection with Matt & Molly goes way back to Heather & Tom's 2014 wedding at The Lyman Estate. I still remembered Matt's smile and Mary's gorgeous eyes when they first reached out to me about their own nuptials back in May. Since then I've been completely blown away by their team work approach to their planning via the conferences calls and emails that we shared back and forth. Their wedding day was a testament to their collective hard work. It was absolutely incredible!

Matt & Mary spent the day in The Liberty Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts with their family and friends getting ready for their courtyard ceremony after sunset. Before they said their vows, they each took a quick walk around the West End with their attendants to stop traffic, get fresh air, and, yes, take fun photos. Alan and I were hard pressed to decide who had more fun in the city: me with the ladies and their laughter & smiles or Alan with the guys and their shenanigans. Once they were each back in the hotel, they relaxed for a while watching the sun set over the Charles River. With the courtyard lit with twinkle lights and their guests kept warm under fleece blankets, Matt waited for his bride at the end of the aisle as Mary and her brother walked down to meet him. I dare say that my eyes were not the only ones that were a bit misty as they proclaimed their love for each other and were at last declared husband & wife.

We captured their formal portraits outside of The Liberty Hotel before taking a few moments for just the two of them prior to joining the cocktail hour on the top floor overlooking the hotel's gorgeous lobby area. Brick Park got the party started for Matt & Mary's grand entrance to their reception as a married couple. They were both beaming with joy as they had their first dance together. And I dare say that the dance floor was filled for much of the night as the newlyweds and their family & friends celebrated together. It certainly was a party that I dare say no one will be able to forget anytime soon. What an amazing day!

Mary & Matt, thank you so very much for including Alan & I in your incredible day. We had a fantastic time with both of you and greatly enjoyed capturing the story of it all. Your full gallery is going to be finished in the next few days. But we wanted to share a sneak peek of what you have coming in the meantime. Thank you so much for ending our 2017 wedding season on such a high note. ❤
