"I feel so lucky that I was in a wedding party almost two years ago that allowed me to meet Susie as I was starting to plan my own wedding. After only spending a few minutes with her, I knew I wanted to hire her. She is friendly, helpful, and comes prepared for literally anything. When we hired Susie, we chose to also hire Alan, her husband and assistant. Together, these two make a fantastic team. My husband said that aside from taking fun getting ready shots of the guys, Alan was also super helpful. For example, he helped them pin their flowers when they were struggling to get them all on. As the ladies were getting ready, Susie took beautiful photos of my bridesmaids and our accessories. At one point when my dress was sticking out a tad at the shoulder, Susie had whipped out double-sided tape before I could blink. At the reception, when I could not find my sister, she had my dress bustled in under five minutes. Their experience with weddings really shines through as they work. I felt like they were reading my mind! Our pictures are breathtaking. I do not think they missed one moment. I also appreciate the unobtrusive way they get all the best shots. I have so many fun candid photos I did not even realize they were taking. Furthermore, Susie is prompt and gets your photos back to you as soon as she can. We could not believe when ours were ready! Another fun thing Susie does is post sneak peaks on social media. I loved ours! I also need to mention that we did our engagement shoot with Susie and that was also an incredible experience. We have two large and sometimes (okay all the time) excitable dogs and she was so helpful with them :) I am SO happy we hired Susie and Alan to capture our wedding. From the start until even now, I always felt like my questions were answered. It is like working with a friend; she is so personable! You definitely need to trust your photographer and I recommend Suzanne Simmons 100%! Choose Susie & Alan- you will not be disappointed!"
