Poof! There went the past year. It's crazy how fast time flies. It feels like just yesterday I was arriving at the Cascade Spa at Mill Falls in Meredith, New Hampshire, to meet Lesley, her sisters, and her mom as they were primping for Lesley's lakeside ceremony to John. It was one of the most perfect days of the entire summer: perfect temperatures, low humidity, no chance of rain, and fluffy white clouds sporadically dotting the sky.
With their hair perfectly primped and their make up finished, off we went to Moultonborough to assemble the finishing touches. Lesley's adorable, cocktail wedding dress was a match made online; she knew instantly it was what she wanted before even trying it on. Given how perfect it was for the day, I dare say she chose well! The purple sash complimented the flowers blooming around the family camp where they held their wedding surrounded by their immediate family. With Lesley's brother in law providing the music, her sister performing the ceremony, tearful speeches given, and the rings exchanged (including the band John made for himself) they were finally married!
Lesley & John's friends joined them to celebrate the newlyweds. Canoe rides around the lake. Corn hole toss with their personalized boards and bean bags. Absolutely delicious food and incredible cupcakes from Magic Food Catering and Events in Center Harbor in New Hampshire. Lovely florals arrangements practically everywhere you looked. And fly fishing at sunset. The day was the unique and perfect celebration of Lesley & John's love for each other.
Lesley & John, thank you so much for having me there with you for your wedding. It was so great to see everyone once again. I hope that the past year has been filled with lots of adventures, fishing, and lakeside chats. Happy anniversary!
