Angelina & Ravi's Indian Wedding at Granite Ridge Estate

My. Oh. My. Having the honor of capturing Angelina & Ravi’s wedding at Granite Ridge Estate this summer truly blew my mind. From the moment they reached out to me just about 11 months before their wedding, I was practically jumping up and down with excitement. I have been crossing my fingers hoping to photograph a wedding at Granite Ridge Estate since they first came on the scene. From the majestic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys to the gorgeous barn (and you know how much I love barn weddings!), I was incredibly inspired by the entire estate. Let me tell you, I don’t think that I was really ready for just how amazing it was because it was definitely better than I imagined. Add on to that the instant connect I felt with Angelina and Ravi (especially over our shared love for our furbabies) and I knew it would be a day like no other.

And it was just that. Angelina and Ravi donned ornately detailed outfits from Ruchita Dagli Designs that took my breath away. I could have photographed every inch of the immaculate stitching and beading for hours! All of the mehndi designs on the women’s hands and feet reminded my of my days in high school when my roommate from India would bring her henna paint back to campus after holidays. It was so incredibly intricate! Their pup ran around like he owned the Estate with his tail wagging a million miles an hour. Angelina & Ravi’s loved ones relaxed and laughed practically all day long. The dance floor was packed all night long, thanks to Tuxedo Junction Band, complete with late night antics that have kept me in stitches ever since then. Everyone’s bellies were filled with delicious Indian and more traditional food from one of my favorite caterers, The Good Food Store in Bethel, Maine. (It was so tasty!) And a major shout out goes to the team from Purple Orchid Events who kept the day running so smoothly even with the surprise rain and helping Angelina & Ravi make sure their pup’s needs were taken care of. It was such an amazing day from start to finish!

Angelina & Ravi have all of their finished images and it sure was impossible to select a small set to share here. But it was certainly a day worth sharing and remembering for years to come. I am quite confident that no one there that weekend will have it fade from memory anytime soon.

To Angelina & Ravi, thank you once again for having me there with you to capture your day. ♥
